Castle Hill, Berkhamsted, New Build House

This new house develops themes explored in other work by the practice.

As at Ty Hedfan and Stonecrop, the house is conceived as two contrasting wings and blends traditional materials with an elegant and efficient building form.

Castle Hill

Set in a semi private suburban street one wing of the detached house has a planted sedum roof rising from the ANOB open countryside at the rear, whilst the second wing adopts a more urban treatment with a faceted tiled roof facing the street.
